‘Yellowstone’ Final Episodes Move to November 2024, Spinoffs ‘1944’ and ‘2024’ Ordered

The popular TV series “Yellowstone” is set to conclude with its fifth season, with the final episodes scheduled to air in November 2024. Paramount has greenlit two new spinoff series, “1944” and a contemporary series titled “2024,” both produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.

The decision to end “Yellowstone” was influenced by various factors, including Kevin Costner’s departure due to his focus on the Western feature “Horizon.” The show’s success has led to its expansion into a global hit franchise with over 100 million fans worldwide.

The new spinoffs aim to continue the complex and compelling storytelling that has made “Yellowstone” a cultural phenomenon. Additionally, the contemporary series “2024” is expected to feature new cast members and locations, with some crossover characters from the original series.

Creator Taylor Sheridan has several other shows in development, showcasing the continued growth of the “Yellowstone” universe. Executive producers of “Yellowstone” include Sheridan, Costner, and a team of industry veterans.
