Why ‘LPBW’ Fans Think Zach Roloff Needs Therapy

Little People Big World: Zach Roloff

Little People Big World is about to premiere Season 25. With all the drama teased in upcoming scenes, many viewers agree that Zach Roloff needs help. What do viewers have to say about what they are seeing?

Little People Big World: Roloff Farms Drama Started The Rift

The bulk of the Little People Big World drama over the last few seasons has been about Roloff Farms. Matt Roloff wanted to sell a portion of the property that Roloff Farms sits on, including different features on the property that were on those acres.

Zach Roloff wanted to throw in so that he could keep Roloff Farms in the family. His plan was to make an offer close to what Matt Roloff bought Amy Roloff out for. Unfortunately for Zach, that figure ended up being much lower than what Matt wanted.

The way Zach saw it, Matt would sell Amy’s share of the farm to him and his brother Jeremy Roloff. That didn’t come to pass.

LPBW: Zach Roloff Still Bitter Over Soured Farm Deal

Zach Roloff is still bitter over this Roloff Farms deal that went south. Zach and Tori went as far as to move their family out of Oregon, settling in Battle Ground, Washington. Matt Roloff says in Little People Big World Season 25 teasers that he and Caryn Chandler extended the olive branch to Zach and Tori. Matt believes his son and Tori made a “pact” to avoid Roloff Farms.

Amy Roloff wonders in the upcoming season when enough will be enough, and when father and son will finally bury the hatchet. One unfortunate downside to these lingering hurt feelings is that Matt Roloff is missing out on time with his grandchildren from Zach and Tori. This is time they won’t ever get back as a family.

Little People Big World Fans Think Zach Needs Therapy

This Roloff Farms storyline and the ensuing drama is certainly a goldmine for TLC. The more drama there is in scenes, the better it is for the network. The way a lot of fans see it, though, Zach Roloff needs some serious therapy to work on and process his issues.

Things like Zach using his children as messengers to communicate with Matt aren’t sitting well with a lot of Little People Big World fans. Many see Zach’s actions as spiteful, including moving farther away. This is the kind of angst-driven behavior one might expect from an angry teenager. The fact that Zach Roloff is doing this in his 30s is concerning for a lot of viewers.

  • One Little People Big World fan said: “The whole Zach-Matt thing seems fake by now.”
  • Another chimed in with: “He may need therapy but he’s also just dumb. So he probably isn’t capable of dissecting his feelings.”
  • On the other side of the coin, not everyone thinks Matt Roloff is completely innocent in the equation, with one viewer saying: “Matt seems very narcissistic. Zach has probably had a lot of emotional injury from Matt. Avoiding Matt and Caryn is the smart thing to do.”

Family therapy seems like it could be an option to get the whole clan back on the same page. Matt and Zach have both done things to make the situation between them worse. Whether or not they fully resolve their issues is something that remains to be seen.
